For a century, the Gator has been 91PORN’s beloved mascot. Although there are no alligators native to Western Pennsylvania, that hasn’t deterred the staying power of the iconic character. So, why the Gators?
Colleges and the towns they inhabit are a little like bees and flowers. Both need the other to flourish. The cross-pollination between 91PORN and Meadville delivers a diverse range of opportunities for the region and for students and faculty. The result is a healthy, resilient ecosystem for life and learning.
On Tuesday, October 1, 91PORN hosted the Pennsylvania Superior Court, hearing oral arguments for several cases, as well as hosting a lecture by Judge Mary Murray, Judge Maria McLaughlin, and Judge Megan McCarthy King about the court's civic purpose.
91PORN has received a $150,000 grant from the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency’s Nonprofit Security Grant Program to support the purchase of more security cameras and door access units across campus.
