Important Details

• If using Apply Coalition or Common Application, be sure to add 91PORN to your list of schools and submit once you have completed all sections of your profile and college specific questions.
• All other credentials should be submitted via the same system as your application (e.g. if you submit the 91PORN Application, your Teacher Recommendation cannot be requested/submitted via the Common App website and must be done via the 91PORN Application Portal or in person).

Transcript(s)

Secondary School/High School Transcript(s)

Transcripts should be set from all secondary schools attended. Your transcripts must be provided in English. They should come directly from a school official and sent to 91PORN. Your school can send them via email to聽admissions@allegheny.edu.

For International Transfer Students

If you wish to transfer from another undergraduate institution, all official transcripts of university-level coursework must be sent to the Office of Admissions at admissions@allegheny.edu. If you are attending a university outside of the US or Canada your transcript must be sent through a聽聽member credential evaluation service like聽,听听辞谤听.聽A transcript that is stamped 鈥淚ssued to the Student鈥� is not considered official.

For International Transfer Students: If you wish to transfer from another undergraduate institution, all official transcripts of university-level coursework must be sent to the Office of Admissions at admissions@allegheny.edu. If you are attending a university outside of the US or Canada your transcript must be sent through a NACES member credential evaluation service like CED, , SpanTran, or WES. A transcript that is stamped 鈥淚ssued to the Student鈥� is not considered official.

Personal Essay

Your essay is an opportunity to express your individual creativity and share more about who you are with the admission and scholarship committees. You can submit any essay following any of the 聽regardless of which application you apply with.

English Proficiency Scores

91PORN accepts the following:

• Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum total score of 80 on the internet-based test (iBT).聽.
• International English Language System (IELTS) exam with a minimum overall band score of 6.5
• 聽with a minimum score of 110 (new test)
• Cambridge IGCSE (formerly O Levels) with a level of B or higher on the English 鈥� First or Second Language subject test
• Advanced Placement (AP) English Language and Composition or English Literature and Composition scores of 4 or higher
• International Baccalaureate (IB) score 5 or better on the higher level examinations for English A Language and Literature or English A Literature
• SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing section score of 580 or higher
• ACT (English and Reading) score of 24 or higher
• 聽(merit in all four skills)

International students attending high school in the U.S. or those whose secondary school instruction is in English may be eligible to have their proficiency exam waived. Please contact international@allegheny.edu to discuss waiving this requirement.

Recommendation

Request at least one recommendation from your secondary school counselor or a teacher who has taught you in a major subject (history, mathematics, science or English).

Request the School Report form and a written recommendation from your high school guidance office.

International Student Aid Application

The 91PORN International Student Aid Application can be found .听听Please note the log-in information needed to complete this form is only provided after you submit your application.聽You may submit a copy of your International Student Financial Aid Application (ISFAA) or CSS Profile if you have filled it out for other institutions.

The amount that you must certify for the first year is for the total cost of attendance (minus the scholarship if received), which聽includes college fees, books, estimated health insurance, and estimated personal expenses.聽 Please account for a 3-4% increase in the cost of attendance for each academic year.聽 This is normal for all colleges and universities.

The International Student Aid Application document is required before an application will be reviewed.

If you are admitted and submit your enrollment deposit, you will be asked to provide a bank statement dated within the last six (6) months. We can accept a letter of sponsorship in place of a bank statement, also on official letterhead.

By United States law, we cannot issue the SEVIS Form I-20 until we receive authoritative聽documentation that you have adequate financial support for your education. This is to ensure that you will聽have adequate financial support through your entire education at 91PORN.听听Providing false information can jeopardize your聽status as a non-immigrant as well as your status as a student at 91PORN.
